Un cuarto limpio también llamado banco limpio es un ambiente donde las partículas ambientales son controladas por un exchange of highly filtered air using a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) un sistema de filtro, que mantiene controlada las actividades microscópicas. Nosotros tenemos un banco limpio en nuestro laboratorio en Santo Domingo.

Un cuarto limpio clase 100 mantiene menos de cien partículas con un tamaño de 0.5 micrones en cada pie cuadrado de espacio. Adicional de controlar partículas, el cuarto limpio mantiene la temperatura y humedad controlada en los 70F, 45% RH.

Cuál es el proceso de evaluación?

Todos los medios recibidos pasan por un análisis para determinar la condición de la unidad.

 

Paso 1 – Verificaremos si el problema es físico (hardware), lógico (software) o ambos.

 

Paso 2 – Si determinamos que es físico, entonces verificamos cuales partes son requeridas para reparar y sacar la data, buscaríamos en nuestro extenso inventario o lo traemos de nuestros suplidores.

 

Paso 3 – Después que uno tenga acceso a el disco haremos una imagen sector por sector de su disco a un equipo de nosotros.

 

Paso 4 – El próximo paso es evaluar la estructura de la data y determinar que data puede ser recuperable.

 

Paso 5 – Cuando la evaluación este completa, nos comunicaremos con usted con los resultados y le diremos exactamente en qué precio cae su tipo de recuperación. Necesitaremos su aprobación para continuar desde este punto.

 

 

Cuanto tiempo dura la evaluación?

Normalmente tenemos la evaluación completada en 24 a 48 horas desde que uno de nuestros ingenieros trabaje su caso. El tiempo requerido dependerá de los problemas encontrados. Todos los casos o problemas son diferentes, hay evaluaciones que solo duran menos de 24 horas y hay otras que duran más, si la evaluación tomara más tiempo nos comunicaríamos con usted.

Hay casos en donde mi data no puede ser recuperada?

Si. Hay algunas situaciones donde la data no se puede recuperar. En nuestro laboratorio en Santo Domingo hay clientes que vienen con discos ya abiertos por personas sin experiencia, o que han tratado de usar software de recuperación.

Muchas veces abren los discos en un ambiente sucio haciendo que los platos donde se guarda la data se llenen de partículas, en nuestro laboratorio hemos recibido discos que encontramos huellas de dedos en los platos esto es crítico para los platos y en estos casos es muy difícil recuperar la data.

Al usar software para tratar de recuperar la data sobre escriben arriba de su data original haciendo que la data se pierda completamente.

 

Mis documentos contienen información confidencial. Como puedo estar seguro de que se mantendrá confidenciales?

Los clientes de Datos Recuperados pueden estar tranquilos ya que se trabaja en un entorno seguro, cada miembro de nuestro equipo no puede divulgar ninguna información. Tenemos acuerdos de confidencialidad no escritas con nuestro clientes pero si su departamento legal requiere un acuerdo por escrito nos deben mandar un correo para nosotros procesarlo.

En casos donde el cliente quiere que la data se suba a una nube, nosotros le pondríamos una contraseña para mayor seguridad y le enviaríamos la clave al correo de usted.

 

Es posible enviar el disco duro a su laboratorio? Como puedo enviar mi disco?

Es extremadamente importante que tu disco duro este empacado debidamente, para que no sufra mas daño en el envió. Solo tu disco duro es necesario para recuperar tu data. No hay necesidad de que mande su computadora completa a nosotros.

En caso de que sea un arreglo RAID en un servidor, le pediríamos que mande la unidad completa a nuestro laboratorio en Santo Domingo.

Empacando un Disco Duro

Guarda el disco en un plástico anti estática, en caso de no tener el plástico, por favor enviar el disco en el paquete donde vino el disco, en caso de no tener el paquete por favor usar un plástico de burbujas usualmente lo venden en ferreterías, asegure de que el disco este bien cubierto y no esté suelto. Tenemos casos donde clientes mandan sus discos a nuestro laboratorio en Santo Domingo, en sobres manilas solamente, y ha habido casos que en el transporte de estos discos, han sufrido daños físicos. Daños a discos duros por agua

Si un disco ha sufrido daños por agua consulte con nosotros antes de mandarnos el disco. Este caso puede ser muy delicado y requiera atención especial.

Tarjeta Controladora

Siempre asegúrese de enviar el PCB original del disco donde perdió su data, esto es crucial para nosotros, para poder recuperar la data, El PCB tiene una programación única para ese disco.

 

USB o SSD

Hay casos en que los USB o SSD no requieren envió especial, ya que estos equipos no tienen partes mecánicas o partes que se mueven adentro, solo asegure de empacara bien para que no sufra daños durante el transporte.

Qué hacer cuando mi disco hace ruidos extraños y no tengo acceso a mi data?

Si se da cuenta de que su disco no esta funcionando apropiadamente, no se preocupe llámenos para una consulta. NO TRATE de conectar y desconectar el disco varias veces, esto puede causar daños en la superficie de los platos, haciendo que las cabezas sufran, ya que cada vez que se prende el disco las cabeza se usan en ese proceso.

Si ha borrado archivos no trate de instalar software que cuesten $50 dólares, y usted puede pensar que sería una buena solución, pero en realidad no lo es, el software va a sobre escribir arriba de su data, que se han perdido o se han borrado. What is a class 100 cleanroom?

A cleanroom called also clean bench is an environment where airborn particulates are controlled through an exchange of highly filtered air using a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtering system, and through minimization of activities that generate particles. We have a fully operational clean bench in our labolatory in Santo Domingo.

A class 100 cleanroom maintains less than one hundred particles larger than 0.5 microns in each cubic foot of air space. In addition to particle control, the cleanroom is temperature and humidity controlled to 70F, 45% RH.

Is my data possible to recover?

In many instances, yes we can recover your data. Like other mechanical components, hard drives are subject to mechanical failure over time. It is not a question of if, but when. Common signs of mechanical failure are:

  • Buzzing

If your hard drive is making any strange noises, do not continue to power on the drive or attempt DIY software recovery tools as this can result in further damage to your hard drive and quickly lead to permanent data loss!!

What is the evaluation process?

All media received goes through an extensive analysis to determine the condition of the drive.

Step 1 – We will determine whether the problems are physical (hardware), logical (software structures) or both.

Step 2 – If the determination is physical, we then determine whether the needed parts for repairs are in our extensive inventory or if we will have to source them from our vendors.

Step 3 – Once we have access to the drive we will make an absolute sector-by-sector mirror image of your hard disk to our equipment where the process will continue.

Step 4 – The next step is to evaluate the condition of the data structure & determine how much of the data is salvageable.

Step 5 – When the evaluation process is completed, we will contact you with the results of the evaluation & tell you exactly where in the original price range your recovery will fall. We will need your approval to proceed from this point.

How long does the evaluation take?

We normally to have the evaluations completed within 24 – 48 hrs of our receipt of the drive. The time required for the evaluation is dependent upon the problems encountered. In case when hard drives are analised for bad sectors we need to take image of the drive 1:1 to be able to give you answers if your data is recoverable. this might take more than 48 hours but you will be advised by our customer service that evaloation might take more time tnha the standard 24 to 48 hours.

Are there cases where lost data cannot be recovered?

Yes. There are some situations when data is not possible to recover. In to our lab in Santo Domingo there are customers coming with some hard drives which has been opened by unexperianced technicians. When -pr-othard drive is open in NON clean enviroment they become unrecoverable due to contamination of the platters where the data is stored. Often we recieve hard drives which have fingerprints marks on the top platter and those cases are very hard to recover.

Basically data is not possible to recover when damage to the platters occure or when data was deleted and then overwrited. Format of the drive in low level is also another case where data can`t be recovered.

My documents contain confidential information. How can I be sure they will remain confidential?

The evaluation and recovery process is conducted in secure lab with controlled access to ensure the confidentiality of your data.

We have unwritten non-disclosure agreements with all of our customers, but if your legal department requires a written agreement it should be emailed to us for processing.

In a case when you want us to uplad the recovered data to cloud or ship to your address, we can

Is possible to ship the hard drive to your lab? How do I ship my hard drive?

It is extremely important your hard drive is packaged carefully to avoid any additional damage during shipment. Only your drive is required for data recovery. There is no need to send the whole computer to us.

In case we have to deal with RAID server we might ask you to send the whole unit to our lab in Santo Domingo

Packaging the Hard Drive

Place the hard drive in an anti static material. If an anti-static bag is not available to you use a plastic bag. We recommend shipping the drive in its original manufacturer’s packaging. If manufacture box is not availible anymore pleasewrapt the hard drive in bubble wrap  or faom and use card board box at least 2 size of he hard drive. make sure the hard drive inside is not loose. We have cases when customers are shiping the hard drive to our lab in santo domingo for data recovery service in simple envelops but it is not possible to recover the data becasue they are damage during transport. Water Damaged Hard Drives

If your drive has suffered water damage consult with us prior to delivery to us. Your case might be more delicate as you think and might require special arrangments.

Always insert PCB`from the hard drive you have lost data from, it is crucial for us to recieve original printer circuit bord for recovery process. The PCB`s have unique data written in to them.

There are also cases like USB flash, SSD other memory cards which do not require special shipping instructions becasue they do not have mechanical parts and moving parts inside but make sure they are packed well and not get damage during transport.

What to do when my hard drive is making strange noise or I can`t acess data anymore?

If you noticed that your hard drive is not working properly do not panic and call us for consultation. DO NOT try to connect and disconect the drive many times becasue this might cause more damage to surface of the platters and recovery process will get more complicated and more costly becasue new donor heads have to be used in the process.

If you deleted some data do not ry to install data recovery software which cost for example 50 USD and you might think this will be a solution but it reality it is not. the software which you will install will overwite data which is missing or has been deleted.
